Outdoor Photography

Spring is here and that means we get to go outdoors! I love doing outdoor portraits and just letting the little ones explore and be themselves. Alot of times I am 20 or so feet away just sitting back and watching them walk down a path or play in the grass.

My favorite outdoor portraits are like this one…unposed and truly capturing a moment in time. This little lady has been a client of mine since she was a baby. I have been very fortunate to photograph her brother, then her and now I am busy capturing her twin sisters’ first year! Enjoy!

I love the feel of this photo, the smiles on their faces and just how happy they look! The mom is a long time client of mine – I did her wedding photos back when I was a wedding photographer! Initially I was going to put ALL new portraits on the new website but in the end, I decided to keep some of my favorites.  Some of these portraits are a few years old now but they are still favorites.  What makes a favorite?  Some times its pure photography…the “I can’t believe I caught that” portrait.  For other favorites, its the babies.  I am very fortunate to have made friends with several of my clients over the years.  And, I have my favorite babies – those cutie pies that grab your heart the minute you start taking their portraits!  So, I will be using this blog to share some of my favorites with you.
