My Favourite Maternity Pose - Lorena Smalley

    My Favourite Maternity Pose

This maternity pose is probably my favorite.  It is a wonderful way to show the belly, its a very flattering pose and best of all, my clients love the photos it produces.  For this pose, the client is still wearing underwear, but with some clever positioning of the arms and hands, it looks as though they are naked.

One thing I like to stress to potential clients is that here at LittleBumsFingerandToes Photography, we will only do maternity poses if our clients are comfortable with them.  I have a variety of maternity photos on this website, so if your curious of the types of maternity shots I can do, just take a tour.

Every photo posted on this site has received the permission of the maternity clients before being posted. Be sure to give us a call if you have any questions about maternity poses and pictures!

I love doing artwork using my favorite maternity portraits from a clients maternity session. I like to pick 2 or 3 of what I think are the nicest shots and then make the artwork storyboards using verses I think work best with the portraits. These clients were lots of fun to work with and were kind enough to let me use their photos on my website. Thank you!

This is one of my all time favorite baby portraits that I have taken. I was also lucky enough to have it on the cover of Birth Issues magazine for an issue they did on breastfeeding. Enjoy!

This is kind of a popular portrait when it comes to baby photography. A lot of photographers do this shot when they are taking newborn portraits, myself included. I had a friend ask me why I would keep taking it when I know others are doing the same thing? Its simple…it is one of those baby photos that as a mom, I would love to have.

I love how this portrait shows every little detail in the newborn baby’s foot. More importantly…I love the the idea that the moms hands are never going to grow so she will always be able to put her hand in this pose and remember how tiny those little feet and toes were. Enjoy!
